Hello crafty friends,
I’ve been holed up in the craft room creating with my newest
stamps and dies from Winnie & Walter for several of their 10, yes TEN
different challenges for their 3rd birthday!
If you’ve randomly found this post, here’s Heather H.’s link
for the challenge this is related to:
plus her inspiration

Below is a thank you card I created with the Winnie & Walter "From the Bottom of my Heart" stamp set using Distress Inks in
four colors: Picked Raspberry, Worn
Lipstick, Squeezed Lemonade and Abandoned Coral.
First I stamped an A2 sized piece of Ranger watercolor
cardstock on the smooth side in Versamark ink, then heat embossed in white
embossing powder to create a resist for the ink.
I then smooshed the inks on from my craft mat for a first
pass – dried with a heat tool, then went back again to pick up some more color. After the ink was dry, I stamped the little
hearts from the set in Versafine ink around the center white heart. As a final touch, I added random black dots using a black alcohol marker.
To finish off the card, I trimmed the ink smooshed panel and
added a piece of black and white striped cardstock to peek out on the left side
and embellished with black & white twine wrapped around the panel before
attaching to an A2 white card base.
I have to say that I am very impressed with the quality of
the stamps and how well they stamped the first time. I was thrilled to have my order within 2
days of placing it so I would have more time to play along with the various
challenges before they close on March 6th.
Thank you so much for stopping by today and hope you enjoyed looking at this. If I have inspired you in any way please do post a comment below!
Hugs,
Teresa
