Popping in to post a quickie on a fun card I created for the current Color Throwdown challenge.
The colors for this week are so fun!
I decided to use a donut stamp set from Jilibean Soup that I had not used before. As I created this card my brain was working overtime thinking of all sorts of fun ideas to create with it. I used the donut stamp with the most solid surface instead of the outlines so I could stamp on the main color, then used a Copic marker to color in the non-icing portion.

I created the sprinkles using Nuvo drops to make them more dimensional.
For the sentiment piece I used the two next to smallest sizes of the Spellbinders Labels Eight dies to cut out the colorful background created by sponging on ink over a Hero Arts stencil on white cardstock. I die cut a smaller piece out of white cardstock, then stamped the sentiment in Versamark ink, added pink embossing powder and heat set.
I fussy cut the donuts out and used a hole punch to cut out the centers. The middle donut was popped up on pop dots.
I hope you enjoyed this clean and simple card using minimal supplies. Please consider leaving me a comment if you were inspired by this project or have any questions. I truly enjoy reading your comments and reply to them all.
Hugs,
Teresa
