Magazine Card Feature - Seed Packet Shaker Card

Hello crafty friends,

Those of you who have been following my blog for awhile know about my regular magazine feature. I buy a magazine from my local craft store depending on what appeals to me (not always the same magazine) and then make at least one card, if not several to share with you.  I made the following card with a specific type of person in mind - someone who either loves sunflowers or gardening.

The July 2017 issue of Papercraft Essentials magazine had an adorable sunflower and seed packet stamp set, along with some fun sentiments.  I thought that the perfect thing to do with this is make a shaker out of the seed packet and put it on the front of the card with the large sunflower.  If I were to make it again, I would probably  so buy some real flower seeds to put into the shaker instead of the microbeads, but there's always the next time :)

Instead of the usual written instructions, I have made a video to show the process since there's quite a bit going on with this design.  If you haven't subscribed to my You Tube channel, now would be a great time because I'm going to be producing videos on a regular basis - my goal is once a week, but it will probably be twice a month while I get ramped up and more efficient with editing and voiceovers.

Without further ado, the video......

Thanks again for stopping by - if you have enjoyed this post I would love to hear from you before you go!  I love comments and respond to all of them.

Hugs,

Teresa
