CAS love card - dies & watercolor

Hello crafty friends,

Popping in for a very quick post - I was very excited to receive my order of Altenew bold alphabet dies and just "had" to use them right away!

Before die cutting the letters, I stamped a piece of watercolor paper with a Hydrangea stamp from Winnie & Walter several times with a variety of blue, lavender and pink Marvy Uchida watercolor markers (as well as a few others from Recollections, which also worked just as well).  You swipe the marker over the stamps then after stamping use a watercolor brush to move the color.  I did not spend a ton of time on it since I was going to die cut the letters out of it afterwards.

I used the same markers to add a "watercolor wash" at the bottom right hand corner and then added splatters of the same colors across the card.

I adhered the die cut letters by popping up the "L" and "V" on foam tape while adhering the others straight down onto the card panel.  I framed the panel with lavender cardstock before gluing down onto a white A2 sized card base.

I added the smaller sentiment "to my" (an Altenew set) onto the same lavender cardstock, embossing with white detailed powder and trimming down to put just above the die cut word.

I am entering this card into the following challenges:

Simon Says it must be love (Wednesday challenge)
Crafty Friends challenge #77
Festive Friday Challenge #FF0001 (first challenge started yesterday)

Thanks for stopping by!
