Blog Hop Collaboration

Hello crafty friends,

You should have arrived here from Lindsay's blog - if not no worries, the full lineup of designers is shown later in the post.  The Crackerbox & Suzy team has teamed up with My Sweet Petunia to bring you lots of great inspiration featuring products from both companies.   Keep on reading to find out more details on how to participate and potentially win one of two prizes - a $50 shopping spree at www.mysweetpetunia.com and a $50 shopping spree at http://www.sosuzystamps.com/

The MISTI has been such a game changer for me and so many others - I have dedicated a special playlist at my YouTube channel featuring lots of techniques with it.

First I stamped the gnome with a mini Misti tool onto Xpress it blending card with Black Memento Ink - both of which are great for Copic coloring.  The gnome was then colored with the following colors:

Here's the pictorial for the process in creating the miniature sized "scene" behind the stamped and colored gnome image.  Using a soft brush (mine were purchased from Amazon) I lightly applied 3 Distress Oxide colors (Salty Ocean for the "sky", Peeled Paint for the "grass" and "Vintage Photo for the "ground" between the sky and grass.  I tapped off some of the color onto my multi media mat before swiping the color across the stencil.  I cleaned the brush between colors by swiping it with a baby wipe.

HOW TO ENTER TO WIN A PRIZE:
Please leave a comment on all the blog stops no later than Friday, August 24th, at 11:59 PM Central time.  Winners will be announced on Tuesday on the CB/S and My Sweet Petunia blogs.
