Haunted Castle with Crackerbox & Suzy Stamps

Hello crafty friends,

Today I have a fun Halloween themed card to share with you.  I used a simple watercoloring technique to get this loose, ethereal feeling castle in the background and created a short video to share how I did it.  It makes coloring a little less stressful when you are not going for a precise look and can just enjoy the process.  I learned this technique from Bonnie Krebs with Art Impressions and knew it would be perfect to try out on this castle stamp.

Autumn Bliss leafy framed card

Hello crafty friends,

Fall is finally arriving in Texas and I am feeing inspired to create cards in warm autumn colors like today's card.  This leafy framed card was created with just two stamps and a technique that is easy to replicate.   Psssst!  The sentiment is 50% off this month at the store - link to the stamp is at the bottom of this post.

Celebrating Snarktoberfest 2018!!

Hello crafty friends,

Today is an especially fun day because the design team at Crackerbox & Suzy is participating in Josefine Fourage's special event in October, which is dubbed "Snarktoberfest".  The whole purpose behind it is to have fun and make snarky stuff.  Crackerbox & Suzy has SOOOO many snarky stamps that you could spend hours looking at them all.  I thought this kitty stamp was just a perfect match for the sentiment (the snark is on the inside....wait for it).  Keep looking if you want to see what the punchline is.

Trick or Treat - chalkboard style

Hello crafty friends,

Halloween is just around the corner.  I love making cards for this occasion and lucky for me that Crackerbox & Suzy stamps released some really fun new Halloween stamps, including a witch's hat, a broom, potion bottles and the pumpkin just to name a few.  The ghost and sentiment I used are from a prior release.  This ghost is one of my favorites with that really funny expression - makes me think of Ghostbusters lol.
