Simple Thank You Card

Hello crafty friends,

Here is a very easy card you can create in just minutes!  I used Gelatos and one Nuvo Mousse color to create my stripes and color on the sentiment die cut.  The sentiment is stamped and die cut from the Many Mandalas Concord & 9th set.  Before adhering the die cut I wrapped the base panel (Ranger watercolor cardstock) with some embroidery thread.  The final touch is some Nuvo Jewel drops in one of the new colors

Tropical Birthday Card | Tic Tac Toe Challenge #41

Hello crafty friends,

Hope you are having a great week so far!

One technique used on this week's inspiration card for this week's challenge is new to me.  I attended a Scrapbook Expo recently and learned about some techniques I had not tried before.  I created my own glittery paper to do "almost" a die cut inlay for the tropical leaves (well more like palm branches but I thought they still would fit the theme of the challenge).

Lava lamp interactive light up card | New medium discovery

Hello crafty friends,

I've been experimenting behind the scenes for a couple of months on creating this card.  I did not have any template, stamps, etc. to start from so this is a true "from the drawing board" type of project.  Even if you are not into interactive cards, I think there's still some takeaways for you as well.

Vintage Style Elegant Lady | So Suzy Stamps

Hello crafty friends,

Today I used a silhouette stamp and modified it a bit for my card.  This is a photo heavy post showing the progress steps.  My goal is to show how simple it can be to stretch the use of a silhouette stamp.

Triple spinner Saint Patrick's Day Card | Tic Tac Toe challenge #39

Hello crafty friends,

I have a really fun card to share with you today.  This week's challenge board had "spinner" as one of the elements.  given my love of interactive cards it was an easy choice.

I went with the left diagonal down on the board: Spinner Card - Accents - Smooshing.  Please be sure to visit the challenge board to play along with us!

Elegant Peacock Feather Card for So Suzy Stamps

Hello crafty friends,

Peacock feathers are some of the most beautiful in my opinion.  This stamp is one of those classics that I plan to use again and again in my card making.  I decided to use it to create an elegant background that would also serve as the focal point for my card.  I stamped the feather all over a piece of teal solid cardstock with embossing ink, added some gold embossing powder and heat set it.
