It's time for another Tic Tac Toe challenge - this is the card I created using Art Impressions watercolor series stamps. I made this in a class I recently took from Bonnie Krebs, the artist who makes all the wonderful images - she's been in business 23 years as of this writing. Bonnie and her daughter do lots of YouTube videos on the same method used on this card.
Here's the challenge board - I went with the first row down: Water - free - square.
This method of watercoloring is very easy to learn and is relaxing to do. I like saving the images I color then decide how to use them in a project later.
The best teachers are Bonnie and her daughter Kendra - here are their YouTube channel links:
Here are some additional photos of cards I completed in the same class. Did you know that if you take the class you get an exclusive stamp set? It's not sold anywhere so it's definitely a perk of taking the class if you have the opportunity. As you can see I signed my artwork as Bonnie encourages it - each one you create will be unique and that's the beauty of creating handmade art for your cards or other paper crafting projects.
The oval dies I used to frame these two images came from Nicole Peterson Designs (purchased at a recent Scrapbook & Stamp Expo. She told me that she plans to have an online store at some point. I like the edge details on these dies - they look a little like an "x" shape and are unique.
thanks for stopping by - please be sure to check out the creations from the rest of the design team at the challenge blog. I can't wait to see what you create to play along with this week's challenge.
