Alcohol ink Galaxy background with Crackerbox & Suzy Stamps

Hello crafty friends,

Do you like galaxy backgrounds?  I love how there are so many ways to create one - today I wanted to do something I've done before - this time around I did capture the process of how I did it on camera.  Scroll on down to see the video towards the end of this post.

I used Ranger Yupo paper and alcohol inks (as you can tell from my photo props) to create this background.  I did the same technique before on another space themed card here.  In that post I did  not show the background technique because I had already created it before turning it into a card.

I discovered that it is possible to stamp and emboss onto mirrored cardstock.  I discovered by accident that if the anti-static powder still leaves lots of stray embossing powder behind you can actually brush off the powder (even over where you want it to stay) and it removed the unwanted powder only.  It's definitely a must see to believe it when you see the video.

Below my signature are the main products I used on this project (other than the white cardstock base).  I use affiliate links where possible - this does not impact your purchase price and allows me to earn a small commission.  I appreciate it if my work inspires you to shop through these links.  It allows me to continue bringing you new ideas and the occasional giveaway.  Speaking of, if you have been following along with these prior posts, I am giving away a MISTI stamping tool.

The video (when visible here on on YouTube) will have the 3rd and final keyword as one of the multiple ways to get entries into the contest.  The contest will end on 7/18/2018.  If you have all three of the keywords then go straight to this link a Rafflecopter giveaway to enter your name, email and keywords.  The reason I'm asking for your email is to verify the winner after the conclusion of the contest.  Your email will not be added to any list (mine) or shared with any other parties.  If you want to start at the beginning (for the giveaway - look at this post).
