Live it in color

Hello crafty friends,

Today's card features both Crackerbox & Suzy stamps as well as Catherine Pooler inks, which are available for sale at the Crackerbox & Suzy store.  I used 4 shades in the coral/orange range to create this card with a combination of ink blending with white embossing and two layers of colored overlapping stamping.  Products used are linked at the end of this post.  UPDATE:  You can get 10% off the inks until midnight Central time Sunday, Sept 23, 2018!!

The background of the base layer was stamped in an overlapping fashion using one of the new stamps called wood slice.  The middle layer was colored with the same 4 inks using the ink blending technique on Smooth Bristol paper.  After letting the ink dry, I stamped on top of the colored panel with Versamark ink, added white embossing powder and heat set.

To create the area for the sentiment I again stamped the 4 colors using the Wood slice stamp like I did the base layer.  Next I stamped the sentiment in Black Versafine Onyx ink because it's a very dark black ink and finally added clear embossing powder over the top.
