Maximizing your stamp sets featuring Dare 2B Artzy + Video tutorial

Hello crafty friends,

Today I'm up on the Dare 2B Artzy blog sharing this big top circus themed card.  I also created a video which is up on my channel as well as the D2BA channel.  I was inspired by another card the owner of D2BA made with the same stamp set because of the color combo so I utilized that concept for my card.  I'll share a pic of that card below.

Elegant thinking of you card

Hello crafty friends,

The month of February has been a very fun collaboration between Crackerbox & Suzy stamps and Rinea.   I used the glossy gold foil in my design after die cutting it with a gorgeous die from Spellbinders.  The multi- colored oval in the center is something I saved from another card and once I came up with my idea for this card I knew it would fit right in.

Crafty breakthrough with stencils & Brother ScanNCut

Hello crafty friends!

I own a lot of stencils.  They are one of the "the" most useful things a papercrafter can have.  Not only are they inexpensive, they lend themselves to lots of techniques.  One you may have never thought of before is making a background "die" out of them.  Now I don't mean converting a stencil into a metal die, but using the magic of the Brother Scan N Cut (another invaluable tool I own and use frequently) to create the electronic version.  You might immediately recognize some of these stencil patterns in the photo.  If you don't -  not to worry I have linked to them below.

Valentine's Card - foil & yarn adorned

Hello crafty friends,

Just popping in to post this fun card to celebrate Valentine's (and Galentine's) Day!  I combined Rinea foil, a sentiment stamp from Crackerbox & Suzy and other elements to pull together this cute and quick card I'm sharing on the Crackerbox & Suzy blog today.

Hurray for St. Patty's Day

Hello crafty friends!

Wow cannot believe it's already February - wasn't it just yesterday we rolled in the new year?  I have always found St. Patrick's Day to be a fun holiday (minus the pinching if not wearing green on that day).  I sometimes tried to cheat by pointing out I have green eyes but to no avail.  I discovered a few years ago that I do have Irish ancestry - according to a geneaology test I'm 16% Irish.

Anyhoo - here are my two cards - and yes there are more up close pics with all the details inside and out.  Both of these are made with a clear card base (at least on the front) allowing you to see a little of the inside, but you have to open to see what is concealed by the decorative elements on the front.
