Hello crafty friends,

I am excited to be taking part in the 3rd Save the crafty YouTuber event, which is organized by Justine Hovey.  This takes an incredible amount of time for Justine and it is all about helping the smaller channels (like mine) get some exposure.  We have 50+ prizes being offered from these sponsors and many of the participants (me included) are giving away prizes for comments left on our individual channels.  You will have to watch the videos and comment on them over at YouTube to be entered for the prize drawing.

I am up on the Dare 2B Artzy blog today with this floral card.  I do like to color but sometimes I want to get a card done quickly without having to do a lot of thinking about color combos to use.  This is just the technique to use on a detailed flower image like this lovely Lotus stamp from Dare 2B Artzy.  Instead of coloring the flowers, color the background.  I did not use masking to make the process as simple as possible.
